Hi, I’m Elizabeth

It’s a pleasure to meet you!

I’ve been fascinated by all things organizing since I was a child. Growing up, I was constantly analyzing the organizational systems (or lack thereof) in my own home and that of my friend’s and neighbor’s homes. I would spend hours considering why some systems worked for certain individuals but not for others. Over time, I began to experiment within my own home, regularly organizing and reorganizing my things. I learned all that I could about organization and the factors that make or break its functionality. This curiosity and passion led me to pursue a bachelor’s degree in business administration, with a concentration in organizational psychology and professional coaching.

It is my belief that disorganization is due to dysfunctional systems more so than dysfunction within the individual. In fact, there are many ways of dealing with the objects in our lives that are traditionally thought of as “dysfunctional” that are completely valid. Because each person thinks differently, they can honor their individuality by organizing in a way that will make sense to them rather than trying to conform to a system that was designed for someone else.

The systems I implement are uniquely designed for each client, using evidence-based methods, making them easy to maintain as well as functional over time. As an organizer, I employ techniques from positive psychology and cognitive behavioral therapy to help my clients identify their goals, focus on the positive aspects of their project, and take real steps toward achieving those goals.

To me, organization is about more than how a space looks. It is about the freedom it gives you to live in a way that is consistent with your values and aspirations. Wherever you are on your organizational journey, I hope you are able to find solutions that meet your needs so you can spend your time on what matters most to you.
